Jon Chan is a first assistant art director & set designer in the film industry. Based out of Toronto, Ontario, he has worked on films and television series alongside some of the top talent in the industry. He has worked with Oscar award winners Guillermo Del Toro on Nightmare Alley (2021) and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019) and David Wasco on Molly’s Game (2017). Other highlights from his career so far have been Pixels (2015); Suicide Squad (2016); IT (2017); xXx: the Return of Xander Cage (2017); A Simple Favor (2018); and Shazam! (2019). He received his education at the Ryerson School of Interior Design and is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada.
