Jon Chan is a first assistant art director & set designer in the film industry. Based out of Toronto, Ontario, he has worked on films and television series alongside some of the top talent in the industry. He has worked with Oscar award winners Guillermo Del Toro on Frankenstein (2025), Cabinet of Curiosities (2022), Nightmare Alley (2021) and David Wasco on Molly’s Game (2017). Other highlights from his career so far have been xXx: the Return of Xander Cage (2017); IT (2017); A Simple Favor (2018); Shazam! (2019); Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019) and Priscilla (2023). He received his education at the Ryerson School of Interior Design and is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada.
